Press Release to Rugby Advertiser 29thJuly 2014. Cadman Homes – You’re so MoneySupermarket.com!

Town centre based estate and lettings agents Cadman Homes are going one step further in an effort to offer value for money for sellers and landlords in Rugby. The Castle Street based family owned and run firm have been approved by comparison site MoneySupermarket.com and are to offer their services in a brand new estate agency section that is due to be launched soon, in conjunction with the UTD  Group.

With the current property market being so strong, with high demand for houses and a slight lack of supply, some agents are still charging a high fee for an inferior service and at the other end of the scale there are new agents setting up from home offering a limited range of services at a discounted price. Neither of these extremes are in the best interest of many sellers or buyers.

“Within a buoyant property market there is more confidence for people to enter the industry as agents, sometimes without the proper training, resources or skills to best serve their clients. Furthermore we have heard of examples of agents charging a “mates rate” fee to someone they know which is still potentially 25 – 50% more that they can get from other agents if they shopped around”. Adam McHenry, head of sales at Cadman Homes told us.

The new function on Moneysupermarket.com will compare agents based on price, service and what else they include in the overall offering to the client.  Cadman Homes will be offering an incentivised package, and would encourage people looking to sell a property in the Rugby area to take advantage of this before the official roll out of the service, believed to be later this year.

“We want people to take advantage of the offer before the end of the summer as the market naturally quietens down slightly then” Adam said. “Several market analysts are predicting a slight cooling down as supply increases and the summer ends, and we want people to make the best of the warm weather. Houses look better in the sun and viewings can be done later in the evening. We always accompany viewings so you can carry on enjoying the weather whilst we work around you” Adam explained.

So to take up the offer now, or if you are thinking of selling over the next two months or so, please contact the Rugby office on 01788 560 905.
